The Picto team have spent the last week in Liverpool installing the signage and wayfinding for the latest Rutherford Cancer Centre as it approaches practical completion. This is our fourth centre for Rutherford Estates, working with JDDK Architects.
The centre forms part of the £1b Paddington Village development, part of Liverpool City Councils Knowledge Quarter. Paddington Village aspires to be an International destination of significance in healthcare, life-sciences and technological innovation. The Rutherford Cancer Centre is one of the first buildings to complete on the 30 acre site.
Staff will be moving into the building next week and the facility itself is due to open fully later this year. As with the other centres in South Wales, Reading and Northumberland, Rutherford Cancer Centre North West is equipped with the very latest imaging equipment, including proton beam therapy, MR-linac, CT and MRI scanners and will offer patients state of the art cancer treatment.
