New front entrance signage at the Grand Opera House York
Picto have been appointed to design and implement new wayfinding at the Grand Opera House York, working directly with Ambassador Theatre Group (ATG), following our work at Stockton Globe.
The Opera House is steeped in history with the building dating back to 1868 when it was a corn exchange and warehouse. In 1902 it was converted into a theatre and is now North Yorkshire’s largest fully operational theatre, making it the home of live entertainment in the region.
The new wayfinding coincides with other refurbishment work currently being undertaken at the theatre and is due to be completed by the end of September.
